FINALLY!!!
Yesterday I was at work when Jessi paged me. I called her back. She got on the phone and started out. "Mom, you'll never guess what happened! Zach and I were playing and he hit me in the mouth with his knee!" I started thinking...seriously, you called me to tattle?? But then she continued: "And then the most AMAZING thing happened!!! MY TOOTH FELL OUT!!! So, I picked it up and took it to Daddy and he accidentally dropped it under the couch and now we can't find it 'cuz Daddy can't look under the couch, so when you get home can you get my tooth and put it under my pillow?" Needless to say...I was soo glad that tooth has FINALLY come out! It has been wiggly for MONTHS! ...So, this morning Jessi was running around wiggling her other front tooth and I noticed that it was no longer actually connected to her gums in the front and you could see her new tooth underneath it when she wiggled it! So, Brennon talked her into letting him pull it out! One little tug and out it came! So, now we have a toothless wonder...just in time for wedding pictures!!! Hahaha!

Mama, there's a watermelon in the garden!
It's that time of year that the garden is ALMOST ready to be harvested! Zachary came in yesterday while my visiting teachers were over and told me excitedly,
"Mama, there's a watermelon in the garden!! Come see!"
"That's exciting, I'll come see in a few minutes!" I replied.
A few minutes later, he came upstairs again, and said "Mama! There's a watermelon in the garden! Come see!".
"Just a minute buddy and I will come!" I replied.
A few minutes later, Zachary came upstairs again. "Mama, look at this watermelon from the garden!" he said as he proudly held up a small 2 inch watermelon!
"Oh, darn it buddy!" I said "You weren't supposed to pick it yet...it's too little, it needed to grow still!!"
Zachary held up his other hand. He was holding the white plastic marker with the picture of the watermelons on it that had been placed in front of the watermelon plant "But mama, it looks just like the picture!"
Which was true, the watermelon in the 1 inch by 1 inch picture on the plant marker looked about as big as the one Zachary had picked!

Memory Tag
I'm stealing this from Kristin's blog...here's what she said...
I've seen this on a couple of friends blog, and thought I would give it a try here, to help with my missing everyone. Just follow the instructions, I can't wait to read them all and share mine with you.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
Sounds fun right...lets try it!

Mission Accomplished...
Just a quick blog update to let everyone know, Brennon had his surgery today. Seems like everything went well! He is back in his room with his pain under control and resting comfortably. Sounds like he will be in the hospital 3-5 days depending on how it goes!
Special shout out and thanks to the super sweet aunts who are helping take care of our kids while we are otherwise occupied AND to the other super sweet aunt who is thinking about us and keeping us in her prayers...aren't we lucky to have such great family members?? (Is that better Nat?)
Love you guys!

Thank you, Thank you!
We spent our fourth of July driving from home to North Platte NE where we met Brennon's parents and then back home again! It was a long drive but the kids were sooo good! They watched lots of movies, read books, and colored all the way! When we got there, we did a little visiting, had dinner, and then Brennon and I gave lots of hugs and kisses to the little ones that we will be missing for the next couple of weeks!! That's right...the kids are off to a fun-filled time in Utah. They were sooo looking forward to it that I didn't think they would even notice when we left. But, Jessi did notice. She was sad, and that made me cry too, but I'm sure as soon as we were out of site, it was all better!
The kids are off to have fun at their super sweet grandparent's house! We are sooo blessed to have such wonderful parents who will help us out when we need it, and not only that but be incredibly selfless about it. Cheerfully signing up for ALOT of extra work and expecting nothing in return!
Lest you think it will be all fun and games at our house while the kids are gone...Brennon is having his hip replaced on Tuesday. So we will be hanging out at the hospital for the next week! Wish us luck.
And Grandma and Grandpa...thank you! Words can not even express how much me appreciate you! We love you!
