Happy Summer!

Yay! We finally made it to summer and on the VERY FIRST DAY of summer...we ended up in the ER! Oh boy! Jessi hurt her knee on the trampoline, it isn't broken, but they were unable to determine what was going on with her ligaments because of all the swelling...so we get 2 weeks of crutches and then back for a recheck...

Before summer started...we had a busy week of field trips! Savannah went up to the Science Museum in the cities with her class. Mom went with her. We had a fun time!

This is a barrel that holds the same capacity as a dinosaur stomach...Run girls run! The dino will still be hungry for more!

Wind experiments...nice hair Nan!
Jessi went to Quarry Hill for her field trip...she went with Dad. It was over 100 degrees the day they were there...it was HOT!

So they played water games, went canoeing, and held snakes! Fun, fun!

Happy Summer everyone!

End of Year Stuff...

Only 4 days of school left! This is Zach with his teacher Mrs. Brown. He has had a really fun Kindergarten year! I can't believe how grown up he has become!

Savannah and her two best friends Haley (left) and Leah (right) performed in the school talent show. It is a big deal because you have to try out for it and it's pretty stiff competition! They worked really, really hard on their dance (that they made up) and did a fabulous job! We were really proud of them! Unfortunately the video is too big to download : (! Good job anyway Nan!

Meet the Flintstones!

This past weekend was Savannah's Dance Recital. The theme was "Dancin' to the TV Tunes". It was a really fun production. Savannah danced in both shows and they danced to meet the Flintstones! They had fake Flintstone cars that they ran around with and they danced with! It was really cute! She did a great job!

I tried to do a better job videoing...so I split it into a few different parts...but the main dancing part was still too big of a file to upload...so you get two smaller parts instead! Savannah is the one dancing the furthest to the right of the screen in the first video and in the middle of the car on the second! Enjoy!

We are soooo excited for summer we can hardly wait! Savannah is looking forward to Girl Scout Camp and dance lessons, Jessi is looking forward to gymnastics and Girl Scout Camp, Zach is looking forward to baseball and soccer and Quarry Hill Camp, and Nate is looking forward to having all his siblings home to entertain him! Mom is looking forward to outings at the park and going swimming and having more time with everyone! Only 10 more days of school left!

Baby 5 : )

Well...here's baby number 5! This is the baby's backside...you can see its little arms and legs and its very large head! Debuting November 12...or so! The baby's head is on the left side as you are looking at the picture...its a bit blurry! Here are a few "odd" things we've already noticed about this baby:
1. It will be the only baby to be born in an odd year
2. It will be the tie breaker...for boys vs. girls; red heads vs. not
3. Being number 5 is innately odd.
4. It will likely be the only baby we've had that is born in the actual month its due!

The Boys' Room

We FINALLY got the boys room finished! This is especially good because now Zach can stop praying each night that his room won't be purple with butterflies anymore!! We painted the bottom half green and the top half blue. Then we got some dinosaur vinyls and put them around the room. It is really cute! Now the next thing we need to do is get new bunk beds...because unfortunately our old ones need replacing...thanks to a little jumping, a lot of giggling and one loud crash!

What have we been up to??

I don't know where this year has gone! I can't believe it is already almost April! So...what have we been up to the last few months...LOTS!!!

Nathan has been making new friends...this is him with his friend Grace. Grace plays at our house a couple days a week and Nate plays at her house a couple days a week. (We trade babysitting while we work!)
Savannah and Jessi were in the Science Fair. Savannah did a project on which gum blows the biggest bubble...Bubble Yum in case you were wondering!
Jessi did a project on which kind of string attracts the most sugar crystals in a super saturated solution (yarn...in case you were wondering).

We've been selling TONS and TONS of girl scout cookies! Between Jessi and Nan we sold over 500 boxes! This is Jessi at a cookie booth that her troop did. She is taking a bite of the cookie!! Silly girl!

The kids and Brennon went up to the Cities and attended a Timberwolves Game. Nate and I stayed home. They all had a really great time and the best part...they got to be on the jumbotron!!! (Thanks to Jessi's fabulous dancing!!!)

Lastly, Savannah had a dance recital. She did a really great job and really knew her stuff!
I can't get the video to download because it is about 5 seconds too long...so if you want to see it let me know and I will email it to you! It is a cute dance!
We are glad to see that our snow is finally starting to melt and we can see the sun again! Now if only it would get above 35...Hurry up Spring!

Pictures

We have a very talented photographer in our ward...so when I realized that we've never gotten all four of the kiddos pictures taken together...she kindly consented to doing a photo shoot for us. Here are the fabulous results! (Don't worry we have the copyright release!!) PS-Thanks Jolene!
